Season outlook: A very young team in 2006, Charlton County should be much-improved this fall, especially considering the team is a year older and has had a year to play under coach Michael Baxter. The good news is that five seniors return, including the versatile Brittany Dixon (.305 avg.). Expect some younger players to contribute.

Pitcher Candace Maddox returns after posting a 0.27 earned run average last year. But keep an eye on a pair of sophomores Lorin Ricketson (.417 avg.) and Lauren Wilcox (.354 avg.) who had stellar freshmen seasons.
