Season outlook: The Lady Tigers made the state tournament last season and could take things farther this fall. Only two seniors graduated, leaving Adairsville very experienced. All three of its pitchers return � Danielle Abernathy (13-10, 1.21 ERA), Skylar Johnson (8-7, 2.36 ERA) and Tayler West. Ansley Martin (.344 avg., 10 2B, 17 RBIs) leads a talented offensive lineup.

Season outlook: There is a strong nucleus of returning young talent for the Lady Eagles, which should have Coosa challenging for a postseason berth. Five starters are back, including a trio of offensive standouts in Hannah Graham (.393 avg.), Emily Burnes (.374 avg.) and Angela Little (.333 avg.). The Lady Eagles expect a talented sophomore class to help out.

Season outlook: Dade County is never short on talent and should once again be a playoff contender. However, the Lady Wolverines have their work cut out for them this season. The lack of experienced pitching is a concern. Offensively, the team should be fine. Keep an eye on second-baseman Danielle Houts, who batted .385 last year.

Season outlook: With a strong nucleus of returning starters, Darlington should jockey for a postseason berth this fall. Seven starters are back, the bulk of them seniors. The good news is that both of the team�s starting pitchers are back in Jennifer Watford and Kaycie Bevis. A good nucleus of juniors will also help out.

Season outlook: The Lady Tigers will still be very young but should improve this fall as eight returning starters are back. There are still very few seniors. However, a strong group of talented juniors and sophomores will contribute. Keep an eye on senior pitcher/shortstop Toni Lynn Kirby, who showed a lot of promise last season.
