Season outlook: The Lady Patriots struggled last year with a very inexperienced team. Berkmar will still be very young this fall. Pitcher Taylor Deason, who showed promise as a freshman last year, returns to handle the pitching duties.

Season outlook: The Lady Broncos were very young last season but still managed to post 16 victories. This season should be better. Six returners are back, which should help Brookwood challenge for a postseason position. A trio of seniors will lead the way � Jamey Chapman, Meredith Hallman and Kacie Shields.

Season outlook: Grayson should be one of the team�s to beat in Region 8-AAAAA as seven starters return as well as three others who saw significant playing time last year. Amanda Hutcheson (.341 avg., 6 3B, 13 RBIs) and Hayley Downs (.300 avg., 7 RBIs) lead the offense. The lack of experienced pitching will hurt. Mandi Burns (0-1, 1.00 ERA) and Ashley Berger (1-1, 2.80 ERA) have a combined 22 innings between them.
